Privacy statement

Moons Beauty attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement we explain which data we collect and why.

The party responsible for the processing is Moons Beauty, Haaksbergerstraat 302, 7513 EH Enschede, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 87824388.

Which data we process

We process the data you give us when you make an appointment or fill in the contact form, such as your name, email address and telephone number. Online bookings go through our booking system.

If you give consent for statistics on the site, we also see which pages you view, which site you came from, which type of device and browser you use and roughly where you are (country or city). More about this is set out below, under Cookies and statistics.

What we use your data for

We use your data to plan and confirm appointments, to contact you and, only with your consent, to inform you about offers and news.

Cookies and statistics

The site only places cookies once you give consent for them. What it needs in order to work, the site stores in your own browser: your choice in the cookie notice and, if you fill in the skin quiz, your answers until you close the tab. We only receive those answers if you send them to us yourself via WhatsApp.

If you click “Accept” in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics. This shows us which pages are visited, which buttons people click and whether they make an appointment through the site. For this, Google Analytics places cookies (_ga), which remain for a maximum of two years. Google Analytics keeps the data per visitor for no more than fourteen months; after that only the aggregated figures remain. We do not use this data for advertising, and what you write in the skin quiz or in a message to us is not sent there.

If you click “Decline”, we do not load Google Analytics. You can always change your choice, via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the measurement stops immediately and we delete the Google Analytics cookies.

The booking page contains the online booking calendar from Salonized, and the contact page a map from Google Maps. When you open such a page, your browser fetches that part directly from Salonized or Google. In doing so they see your IP address and can place their own cookies. Their own privacy rules apply to that. The same goes for the sites we link to, such as Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.

Who we share data with

We share data with these parties, because we work with their services:

• Salonized, for the online booking calendar and your appointment details.
• Vercel, which hosts the website.
• Hostnet, for our email.
• Google, for Google Analytics (only if you choose this) and for the map on the contact page.
• WhatsApp, if you send us a message.

Some of these parties also operate outside the European Union. They work with the arrangements that apply to this in Europe, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Retention period

We do not keep your data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires us to.
