Lash lift in Enschede

In brief
- A lash lift works with your own lashes. Nothing is added and no extra weight hangs on them, so nothing can fall off at the wrong moment either.
- You choose between the classic and the Korean technique, both with or without tint. The difference is in the curl and where it starts.
- Count on six to eight weeks, exactly as long as your own lashes last. After that the lift gently grows out.
- At Moons from €50.00. Tint only is possible too, for €15.00.

Classic or Korean and with or without tint.
Most people are unsure about two things: classic or Korean, and with or without tint. For each option you see what it does and how long it lasts.
| Topic | What it does | Price | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic lash lift | The familiar lift, where your lashes curl upwards from about the middle. Understated and natural. | €50.00 | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Classic lash lift and tint | The same lift, plus tint. That makes a difference mainly if you have light or blonde lash tips. | €55.00 | Lift 6 to 8 weeks, colour about 4 weeks |
| Korean lash lift | Lift from the root, placed lash by lash. More height and a more even look, even with stiff lashes. | €60.00 | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Korean lash lift and tint | Curl from the root plus colour. The strongest combination with your own lashes. | €65.00 | Lift 6 to 8 weeks, colour about 4 weeks |
| Lash tint only | Colour only, without a lift. Handy between two lifts, or if your lashes already curl nicely. | €15.00 | About 4 weeks |
If you're unsure, choose the classic with tint. That's the combination chosen most often, and after one go you know whether you want more curl.
What a lift does for your own lashes.
With a lash lift, also called an eyelash lift or lash lifting, your lashes are given a lasting curl, so they stand up instead of pointing straight ahead or downwards. Nothing is added, so no glue or extra weight either. That makes your eyes look more open, while they're still your own lashes. People usually say you look rested, and don't notice you've had anything done.
The difference is greatest with lashes that naturally grow straight forward or downwards. After a lift they suddenly look a good deal longer, although not a millimetre has been added. You now see the whole lash, and not just the side. If your lashes already curl a lot, the effect is subtler and it's mainly about the direction and an even look.
Tinting does something different from lifting: it makes the light tips visible that currently get lost. With dark hair the difference is small. With blonde or grey it's often greater than the effect of the lift itself. That's why most people choose the combination. You can top up the tint separately later, for €15.00.
When it works and when we wait.
A lash lift is possible for almost everyone. In a few situations we do talk it through with you first.
A good idea if
- You want to be rid of mascara or the eyelash curler in the morning.
- Your lashes grow straight ahead or downwards.
- You've had extensions before and want something more low-key, without upkeep every three weeks.
- You want to look good on holiday, in the swimming pool or while exercising, without smudged mascara.
- You have light or blonde lash tips. Then tint adds a lot.
Check with us first
- If you have lash extensions, they have to come out completely first. Otherwise the lift doesn't take.
- If you've ever reacted to hair dye or brow tint, say so when booking. We then do a test beforehand.
- If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, the lift is fine. On the tint we decide together.
- If you wear contact lenses, bring a case to keep them in. Your eyes stay closed for the whole hour.
- If you have an eye infection or have recently had eyelid surgery, let your eyes recover first. After that you can have a lift.
- If you have very short or thin lashes, it's still possible, only the result is subtler. We tell you beforehand what to expect.
The first days and the weeks after.
The treatment takes an hour, but the first 24 hours determine how long you enjoy it.
First 24 hours
Keep them dry
Keep your lashes away from water, steam, the sauna and the swimming pool, and don't rub your eyes. The curl still has to set. If you can, don't sleep with your face flat in the pillow.
After 24 hours
Anything goes again
Showering, exercising and swimming are all fine again. Mascara is fine, but you no longer need it. If you use it anyway, don't choose waterproof, because you only get that off again with a lot of rubbing.
Weeks 1 to 4
The best period
These are the weeks you came for. If you also had your lashes tinted, the colour gradually fades during this period, while the curl simply stays.
Weeks 6 to 8
Time for a new one
Your lashes renew themselves. The lifted hairs slowly fall out and the new ones come in straight. That happens gradually, so you see it gently wear off. Wait at least six weeks between two lifts, so your lashes can recover in between.
Together with your brows in one appointment.
A lift together with your brows is the combination that's booked most often. That makes sense, because together they determine how awake your eyes look. If you combine a lash lift with a brow lamination, allow about two hours. If your brows are only shaped and tinted, it's a little over an hour.
If you want to combine, just WhatsApp us. Then we put it in the booking calendar as one appointment. We don't do henna on your brows and a lamination in the same appointment, there's a week between them.
All prices are together on the prices page, and you can simply book online.

Book an appointmentFrequently asked questions about lashes
How long does a lash lift last?
Six to eight weeks on average, which is as long as the natural growth cycle of your lashes. Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours.
What is the difference between the Korean and the Classic Lash Lift?
The Korean technique gives a soft, natural lift that we tailor to your lashes. The Classic Lash Lift is the familiar lash lift, and you can have that with tint too.
Can I just have my lashes tinted, without a lift?
Yes, that's the Lash Tint for €15.00, and it takes half an hour. Handy between two lifts, or if your lashes already curl by themselves and you only want to bring out the light tips. The colour lasts about four weeks.
How long do I have to wait before I can have a new lash lift?
At least six weeks. Your lashes need that time to renew themselves. If you lift again sooner, you put strain on the hairs and it doesn't look any better for it. In practice most people plan their lift every six to eight weeks.
How much does a lash lift cost in Enschede?
At Moons Beauty the classic lash lift costs €50.00, with tint €55.00. The Korean lash lift costs €60.00 and with tint €65.00. You pay afterwards in the salon.
Can I have a lash lift if I have lash extensions?
Only once the extensions are completely out, because otherwise the lotion doesn't reach your own lash. Have them removed properly and plan the lift after that.
Can I combine my lash lift with my brows?
Yes, it's even the combination that's booked most often. A lash lift with brow lamination takes about two hours together. Just WhatsApp us beforehand, then we reserve the right amount of time.
Can I also have lash extensions applied at Moons?
No, we only work with your own lashes, with a lift and tint if you like. If you're set on extensions, you're better off going elsewhere. We'd rather tell you that now than when you're already in the chair.
Can I come wearing contact lenses?
You can. Your eyes stay closed for the whole hour, so we ask you to take your lenses out. Bring a case to keep them in, then you can put them back in afterwards.
