What tint does for your own lashes.
With lash tinting, Lash Tint on the price list, we give your own lashes a darker, more intense colour. We only change the colour. Straight lashes stay straight and curly lashes stay curly.
You see the difference mostly at the tips. Many lashes get lighter towards the end, and those light tips get lost against your skin. That makes your lashes look shorter than they are. With colour on them you see the whole lash. With blonde or grey lashes that difference is big, with dark ones smaller.
If you want curl too, you combine the tint with a classic lash lift or a Korean lash lift. The tinting is then part of the same appointment.
Tint only or a lift with tint.
Tint gives colour, a lift gives curl. What you choose depends on what your lashes already do by themselves.

If you already have a lift and only the colour has faded, the Lash Tint is enough. The curl is still in there.

You lie back and do not have to do anything yourself. Ideally, come without mascara.
Clean lashes
We clean your lashes first, because a trace of mascara or eye cream makes the tint take unevenly.
Applying the tint
With your eyes closed we apply the tint calmly and precisely, because the skin around your eyes is sensitive.
Leaving it to develop
The tint gets a little time to set the colour in your lashes. Meanwhile you can relax.
Removing and done
We carefully remove the tint. When you open your eyes, you see dark lashes straight away.
Who tinting is handy for.
Tinting is a short, calm treatment. In a few situations we do talk it through with you first.
A good idea if
- You have blonde or grey lashes, or light tips that get lost in photos.
- You have a lash lift and the colour has faded, while the curl is still in there.
- Your lashes already curl nicely by themselves, and you only miss colour.
- You are going on holiday, do a lot of sport or swim, and do not want smudged mascara.
- You want dark lashes on days without mascara too.
Check with us first
- You have ever reacted to hair dye or brow tint. Say so when booking, then we do a test beforehand.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding. Then we decide on the tinting together.
- You have an eye infection, a stye or an allergic reaction around your eyes. Then we wait until it has passed.
- You wear lenses. They come out during the tinting, so bring a case.
How long the colour stays put.
The colour stays visible for about four weeks and fades gradually.

Dark without mascara
For colour you no longer need mascara. If you use it anyway, choose an ordinary one. Waterproof mascara has to be removed firmly, and rubbing makes the colour fade faster.

For a wedding or another big day, plan brows and lashes a week or two beforehand. With dark lashes you need less mascara, and what you do not wear cannot smudge either. If you are having them tinted for the first time, try it once earlier. The whole schedule is under your skin before your wedding.

Tint shows the length you already have
Light tips get lost against your skin, and that makes your lashes look shorter. With colour on them you see the whole lash.

If you have ever had anything with hair dye or brow tint, tell us when booking. Then we do a test beforehand.
The colour fades sooner than the curl
Tint lasts about four weeks, a lift six to eight. With a separate Lash Tint you only top up the colour.
With dark lashes the difference is smaller
If your lashes are already dark right to the tip, you see less difference. For an open look a lift then does more.
Where we stop and your GP begins.
With an eye infection, a stye or an allergic reaction around your eyes we do not tint. If it does not clear up by itself, your GP is the first step. If you get itching, swelling or redness around your eyes after tinting, get in touch with your GP and let us know too.

How much does lash tinting cost in Enschede?
At Moons Beauty lash tinting costs €15.00 for half an hour. With curl added you choose the classic lash lift with tint for €55.00 or the Korean version for €65.00. You pay afterwards in the salon, by card or in cash.
How long does lash tint last?
About four weeks. The colour fades gradually, and new lashes grow in their own colour. Waterproof mascara and firm rubbing make it fade faster.
Can I have my lashes tinted if I already have a lash lift?
Yes, that is exactly what the Lash Tint is handy for. Your curl lasts six to eight weeks, the colour about four. With a separate Lash Tint you only top up the colour.
Does lash tinting hurt?
No. You lie with your eyes closed and we work calmly around your eyes. If anything feels uncomfortable, say so straight away.
Can I have an allergic reaction to lash tint?
That can happen, just as with hair dye. If you have ever reacted to hair dye or brow tint, say so when booking. Then we do a test beforehand.
Can I have my lashes tinted if I am pregnant?
Tell us when booking, then we decide together. If you would rather leave the colour during this period, we do that, and you do not need to explain anything.
Do you also do lash extensions?
No, we do not apply extensions. We work with your own lashes: tint for colour, and a lash lift for curl. If you are looking for a lot of extra length and volume, you are better off with someone who specialises in extensions.
How often can I have my lashes tinted?
As soon as the colour has faded, usually after about four weeks. If you also have a lash lift, we match the tinting to the rhythm of your lift.
